Just two questions:
1. What the heck has happened that nowaday kids have such attitudes towards other people?
2. When will fashion industry finally notice, that only a small percentage of the population can or will wear too small, too tight, too pink clothes and padded bras?

Wow it's snowing so heavily outside for hours now. I like it when everything looks bright and white, it's all so clean
And I really wonder where our freaky caretaker is. He is a small, fat man, wearing a thick gold chain around his fat neck, being very choleric, shouting at people passing by on the street not having their dogs on a leash (yeah, you got it, I don't like him). He has a motor-lawnmower, he drives it almost everyday over the lawns around the houses here, but always around noon, at a time when maybe older people living here want to take a nap or other try to work (including me). He sits on the mower like little fat king on the hill, mowing motoneously back and forth for hours. So why I wonder where he is – he can use his mower also as a snowblower to move away all snow, so that people do not slip in the snow and fall down and break something – which is far more important than mowing lawns in my opinion. But anyway, I guess I will see him around in 2 or 3 hours, when it's noon.
[update] – it's 3 pm now and that dude is eventually moving away the snow in front of our house.

Some time ago I complained about Tom Hanks acting as Robert Langdon in "The da vinci code". Today I stumbled upon the IMDB entry for that movie again – and I need to complain again. I really wonder if producers have read the book by Dan Brown? Not that only Tom Hanks – although being a great actor – is not the right cast for protagonist, also other casts are completely messed up in my opinion. Ian McKellen acts as Sir Leigh Teabing. Come on, not really, huh? Leigh Teabing is described as an older, pudgy man – and Ian McKellen isn't pudgy at all! Richard Griffiths, known as Uncle Vernon from the Harry Potter movies or as the Magistrate from Sleepy Hollow, would have been perfect. Jean Reno acting as Bezu Fache? Allright, who else could cast a french policemen? Paul Bettany is Silas, the albino monk. Well he is blonde, but he has to work out a bit to act as Silas. I am really curious for that movie but I fear it will be a big disappointment if you have read the book.
